Dr Ash is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). He completed his medical degree at Monash University and undertook psychiatry training in Queensland, gaining experience across a range of hospital and mental health settings. He completed advanced training at the Mater Emotional Health Unit, where he developed specialist expertise in young adult psychiatry.

His primary area of interest is in ADHD and neurodivergence, especially nuanced presentations in high functioning adults. He is passionate about comprehensive ADHD care, from assessment and diagnosis to personalised, evidence-based treatment supporting individual goals. He also diagnoses and manages high prevalence mental health disorders including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders and OCD.

His advanced training in young adult psychiatry equips him with the expertise to understand and address the unique challenges faced by individuals during this important stage of life.

His approach emphasises strong therapeutic rapport, working with families and delivering gender-affirming and neuro-affirming care. He combines expertise in medication management with practical support and psychological therapies to improve day-to-day functioning and support recovery.

Dr Ash is primarily offering face to face consultations, but is also available to support patients’ individual needs and circumstances through telehealth.

Currently, Dr Ash is not offering consultations for WorkCover or medicolegal matters.
